Kristina Stalnionytė

I have been telling travel stories since my first published magazine article in the year 2000. Now I am a Lithuanian-based travel writer and photographer, covering tourism, entertainment, food & drink, arts & culture.

Today I write for different news and entertainment websites. My work has appeared in a wide range of Lithuanian titles, including Geo and National Geographic magazines, and in travel agencies’ journals, magazines and brochures.

So far I have written 3 travel books (about the Way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, about the Shuar tribe in Ecuadorian Amazon, and about Peru), and a number of publications about Lithuania for tourists.

I am also the editor of the Lithuanian travel website which was awarded The Yearly Prize 2012 by the Lithuanian Journalists' Union.
